Statement vase standing 15” tall and about 13” diameter. Inspired by Gwari water pots from Nigeria, adorned with sectioned coils, slip trailed dots and line carving. Symbols of water and the vesica piscis interplay with geometric shapes across the surface. To achieve the size, the piece was coil built on the potter's wheel, meaning that I combined the traditional process of handbuilding with wheel throwing. This piece is about fluidity, creation, playfulness and relaxation. Our appreciation of this timeless form links us to our ancestors. Our relationship to water links us to all living things.

Shipping
All orders ship within 1-3 business days via USPS Priority Mail except for The Smoke Collection which ships UPS Ground. You will receive a shipping notification including tracking information once your order is packed. Every package is marked fragile and insured for its full value. If you make multiple orders, I will combine them in one box if possible and refund significant shipping overages. I use biodegradable and/or recycled shipping materials.
